Description : Giorgio Armani is a world renowned Italian fashion designer who begins his career in the Nino Cerruti fashion house. In 1974 he created and released his first menswear collection and in the following year he also launched the women swear line. Armani soon became famous for working, designing, and tailoring for big Hollywood actors and some actresses. Since then his prestige has increased and never stop. His sartorial style exhibited a decidedly relaxed, even rumpled look. He combined thinner lapels with baggier pockets and longer jackets. To capture the younger market, Armani opened a line of stores called Emporio, first in Italy, then in the United States. These boutiques debuted in 1981 to offer quality designs for slimmer pocketbooks. Description : Known for her romantic flourishes and her divine goddess gowns, Alberta Ferreti opened her first boutique in Cattolica, Italy, when she was 18. In 1974 she designed her first collection and six years later founded her eponymous label. Her clothes were both feminine and modern, made from the most delicate of fabrics like chiffon, gazar, or georgette. Many celebrity worn her dresses for important ceremonies: Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Andie MacDowell and Uma Thurman. The current collection is a vision of rich jewel tones in sumptuous silks, jersey, and chiffon which the designer has peppered with delicate touches including beading, accordion pleats and knotting.

Description : Adolph and Rudolf Dassler created their first sneaker in 1920 in Herzogenaurach, Germany. After the World War II brothers had a falling out and in 1948 Rudolf "Rudi" went on to create new firm called Ruda from Rudolf Dassler, later rebranded "Puma", while Adolph "Adi" created the famous three stripe brand Adidas from his name Adi Dassler. One of the main focuses of Adidas is football kit and associated equipment and it remains the major company in the supply of team kits for international football teams. It has also sponsored player of tennis, golf, cricket, basketball, lacrosse, gymnastics. Adidas is the current kit and ball supplier to the New Zealand All Blacks.

Founder : An Vandevorst and Filip Arickx

Description : Belgian husband-wife team An Vandevorst and Filip Arickx launched their first collection in Paris in 1998 after graduating from the Fashion School of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. In the same year, the label won France's Venus de la Mode Award for future top designer. The pair is known for their deft contrasts in fabrics, textures and color. The AF Vandevorst recently has expanded to encopass footwear, accessories and lingerie, and they continue to present catwalk shows during the Paris collections.
