Founder : Adolf Dassler
Description : Adolph and Rudolf Dassler created their first sneaker in 1920 in Herzogenaurach, Germany. After the World War II brothers had a falling out and in 1948 Rudolf "Rudi" went on to create new firm called Ruda from Rudolf Dassler, later rebranded "Puma", while Adolph "Adi" created the famous three stripe brand Adidas from his name Adi Dassler. One of the main focuses of Adidas is football kit and associated equipment and it remains the major company in the supply of team kits for international football teams. It has also sponsored player of tennis, golf, cricket, basketball, lacrosse, gymnastics. Adidas is the current kit and ball supplier to the New Zealand All Blacks.
